City of Valley

In the fall of 2011, Point University began playing football with their home games being played at Ram Stadium in Valley. At the Monday, January 23, City Council meeting, Mayor Leak was authorized to continue talks with Point University on the use of atheletic facilities in the city.

Some city-owned property located behind the Valley Community Center is being considered for development for atheletic purposes. Possible uses would be as a 100-yard football practice field, a 40-yard football practice pad and a new building that could house coaching offices, a training room and locker rooms. These improvements could then be used by both Point University and the City on a mutually agreeable schedule.
